The Professional Driver Quiz or PDQ is a driver training video oriented self-test / self-score instructional program designed to
enhance the knowledge and skills a professional driver needs to effectively, safely and economically operate a commercial motor vehicle.
Video presentations are used extensively to assess, develop, stimulate and exercise the driver's traffic perceptual and procedural
skills. Emphasis is placed on enhancing the driver's crash avoidance knowledge and skills. Special attention is given to the
significance of alcohol, drugs, behavior and distractions as primary causes of commercial motor vehicle crashes. PDQ is particularly
appropriate for drivers of combination vehicles.
